A. Privacy Policy

 

The protection of your personal data is important to us. According to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are obliged to inform you about the purpose for which our practice collects, stores and forwards data. The information also tells you what rights you have in terms of data protection.

2. Purpose of data processing

The data processing takes place on the basis of legal requirements in order to fulfill the treatment contract between you and your doctor and the associated obligations.
For this we process your personal health data. This includes anamnesis, diagnoses, therapy proposals and findings that we or other doctors collect. For these purposes, other doctors or psychotherapists with whom you are receiving treatment can also provide us with data (such as in doctor's letters).

 

The collection of health data is a prerequisite for your treatment. If the information is not made available, careful handling cannot take place.
When you visit our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server on our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is recorded without any action on your part and stored until it is automatically deleted:

- IP address of the requesting computer

- Date and time of access

- Name and URL of the file called up

- Website from which the access was made (referrer URL)

- Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer and the name of your access provider.


The data mentioned will be processed by us for the following purposes:

- Ensuring a smooth connection to the website

- Ensuring comfortable use of our website

- Evaluation of system security and stability as well as

- for further administrative purposes.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit.f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed above. In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

 

3. Recipients of your data

We only transfer your personal data to third parties if this is permitted by law or if you have given your consent.
Recipients of your personal data can primarily be other doctors / psychotherapists, associations of statutory health insurance physicians, health insurance companies, the medical service of the health insurance company, medical associations, private medical clearing offices and other health care providers.

The transfer takes place for the purpose of billing the services provided to you, to clarify medical questions and questions arising from your insurance relationship. In individual cases, data will be transmitted to other authorized recipients.

 

4. Storage of your data

We keep your personal data for as long as is necessary to carry out the treatment. Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to keep this data for at least 10 years after the end of the treatment. Other regulations may result in longer retention periods, for example 30 years for X-ray recordings according to Section 28 (3) of the X-ray Ordinance.

 

5. Your rights

You have the right to receive information about your personal data. You can also request that incorrect data be corrected.
In addition, under certain conditions, you have the right to delete data, the right to restrict data processing and the right to data portability.
The processing of your data takes place on the basis of legal regulations. We only need your consent in exceptional cases. In these cases you have the right to withdraw your consent for future processing.
You also have the right to complain to the competent data protection supervisory authority if you are of the opinion that your personal data is not being processed lawfully.
